Based in Saudi Arabia, the property combines king rooms, suites, and serviced apartments within a single, cohesive destination, supported by a full complement of dining, leisure, and business amenities.
The interior architecture is organised around a generous lobby that establishes the hotel’s character from the moment of arrival. Floor to ceiling timber fins structure the space, creating a rhythm of filtered views and softened boundaries. These vertical elements allow the lobby to remain open and flowing while offering pockets of visual privacy. Guests sense the activity around them without feeling exposed, and the space breathes without losing intimacy.
A modern design language runs throughout, distinguished by bespoke detailing that gives each space its own identity while remaining coherent. The timber fins set the tone: their warmth and tactility recur in custom joinery, crafted details, and considered material junctions across the public areas.
Guest accommodation is conceived as a series of calm, uncluttered retreats. King rooms, suites, and apartments share a common palette of warm colours and textures, designed to feel homely and to support the needs of guests on extended stays. Al Bustan Residences comfortably accommodates visitors for two to four weeks, and the effect is residential rather than transient: a place to settle rather than simply pass through.
The hotel is arranged in an L-shaped plan that wraps around a central pool, establishing the water as the social and spatial heart of the property. The lounge bar and all-day restaurant each open directly onto this shared court, their terraces extending the interior outward and fostering an open, vibrant atmosphere that shifts from relaxed daytime ease to animated evening energy. Meeting rooms, gym, and upper-level amenities are held apart from this core, accessible but unobtrusive, ensuring the leisure guest and the business traveller each find their own rhythm within the building.
